Voice chat

Talk in the game

ghst.network has proximity voice chat: players within about 40 metres hear you, like in real life. It's optional - you can play without it.

1. Check your SA-MP version

Open SA-MP and look at the version in the title or in Help > About. You need 0.3.7 R1 or 0.3.7 R3.

2. Download the voice plugin

SampVoice is a free, open-source plugin made by CyberMor. The files come straight from its official GitHub page.

3. Install it

Unzip the file into your GTA San Andreas folder (where gta_sa.exe is), then start the game and join samp.ghst.network:7777.

4. Talk

Hold B to talk. The plugin's menu lets you choose your microphone and volume. In the game, /voice shows a short help. Staff use Z for the staff channel.

Muted players can't use voice. Treat voice like the text chat - the rules apply.
